A 38-year-old man was stabbed to death over a monetary transaction at Thakarbapanagar in Naroda.Police have started the search for the three absconding accused in the case.

AHMEDABAD: A 38-year-old man was stabbed to death over a monetary transaction at Thakarbapanagar in Naroda. Police have started the search for the three absconding accused in the case.
According to Naroda police, Atul Solanki, 38, a resident of Indiranagar, Bapunagar, had been involved in the liquor trade and used to get IMFL from Kiran Makwana, a resident of Naroda, and others.

For the past one week, Solanki and Makwana were at loggerheads over financial transactions, both claiming that the other had to pay a certain amount to settle the account.
“The scuffle turned deadly when Makwana became enraged and assaulted Solanki and his friend Ketan, along with two other accomplices. Solanki and his friend were stabbed repeatedly before they were taken to Civil Hospital for treatment. Solanki died during treatment, while Ketan remains seriously injured. The search for Makwana and his accomplices has been initiated,” said a Naroda police official.
Officials added that Harshad Solanki, the deceased’s brother, has filed a complaint for murder and attempt to murder. P M Bhaliya, assistant commissioner of police, G Division, has been given the responsibility for further investigation.
